Can I change the frequency of automated text messages (check-in text)?

Yes! Text messages are sent out based on your average customer visit pattern. A spa may prefer every visit, as customers do not have the luxury of coming as frequently. But if you are in the fitness world, your customers may be coming 5, 6, maybe even 7 times in a week. So, in this case, you may decide to change the frequency to possibly every third visit. That way you will not overwhelm your super active customers, but will still reach your not as active customers.


How to edit:


Click your name in the top right corner:



Next click Notifications.




In notifications screen, click on the blue customize link, next to Send SMS to customer when they check-in.




Choose how often you would like to send.





We recommend the second option on this screen as that is for continuing engagement. But again if the bulk of your customers are frequent visitors we do recommend changing this to every 2 or 3 visits to trigger automation about once a week.


Change frequency from Loyalty Edit Screen


Here's how to edit the frequency of automated texts from the Loyalty Screen.

First, on the left-hand side click Loyalty.



Next click Settings.




Then click Configure when Text will be sent 



This will give you the same options as mentioned above:
