Users with AI Assistant permissions can toggle the AI Assistant on or off for individual conversations within the Inbox. This feature provides more flexibility and control over AI interactions, allowing for customized assistance when necessary. This article details how to effectively use this functionality.
In each new conversation in the Inbox, a toggle switch with an AI Assistant icon will be shown. When the AI Assistant is enabled globally (AI Assistant page settings), the toggle switch in conversations will be enabled by default for all contacts.
Visibility Based on AI Assistant Status:
- If the AI Assistant is globally switched off (AI Assistant page settings), the toggle switch will not be available in Inbox conversations.
- When human intervention is required (message and CTA in place), the toggle switch will be hidden to prevent conflicting interactions.
