By following the strategies outlined in this article and actively engaging with your AI Assistant, you can ensure that it becomes a valuable asset in streamlining your workflow, enhancing user experience, and achieving your business goals. Your AI Assistant is trained by uploading materials such as files with full descriptions, a list of services your business offers, language preferences and brand communication style, and contextual guidance files with examples and scenarios relevant to your industry or niche. This enhances its understanding and problem-solving capabilities.
In this guide, we'll cover the following key aspects of training your AI Assistant:
1. AI Assistant Settings page can be accessed via Settings option from drop-down menu next to the name of your account.
Clicking on it will open the associated page.
2. From the sidebar navigation select the AI Assistant and you will be ready to work on its training.
3. For the AI Assistant to handle conversations in the best way possible, training materials should be uploaded and regularly updated. This option is available within General Info section.
Clicking on Add File button, a pop-up for uploading material will open.
4. Upload file pop-up - You can add as many files as you need, but the size of all files together should not exceed 100MB. One individual file can be 10 MB maximum size. Supported file formats are following: PDF, DOC, DOCX, TXT or JSON.
5. Allow AI Assistant to use uploaded material in training purposes by turning an appropriate toggle switch on. This switch is placed in the upper right corner of the General Info element.
When selecting training material for an AI Assistant focused on conversation with clients and assisting in appointment booking, rescheduling or cancellation you should consider the following:
- Include all business information you consider as most useful AI Assistant should know and be available to use in conversations.
- Provide scenarios and examples of appointment booking conversations. Include variations in appointment types, scheduling conflicts, cancellations, rescheduling, etc. This will help the AI assistant handle real-world situations effectively.
- Include examples of how users might make mistakes or provide incomplete information during the booking process. This will help the AI assistant learn how to gracefully handle errors, ask for clarification, and make corrections without frustrating the user.
- Ensure that the training material emphasizes the importance of privacy and data security when handling sensitive information such as appointment details. Users should be aware of how their data is being used and stored by the AI assistant.
These aspects ensure the AI Assistant can handle various booking scenarios effectively while prioritizing user privacy and providing a personalized experience.
